Shady Oaks RV Park, Cabins & GuestHouse is a unique resort with a variety of accommodations for diverse individuals looking for a clean peaceful place to rest their head.

 

Our resort if overflowing with nature wherever you look.  From Spring to Fall you can enjoy the colorful flower gardens throughout the park, listen to the many sounds of nature- birds singing and crickets chirping.  Our resort is full of beautiful mature trees that offer plenty of shade during the summer.

 

We are just across hiway 70 from one of Oklahoma's premier fishing and recreational lakes, Hugo Lake, which is surrounded by over 4000 acres of prime public hunting land that inhabits deer, turkey, quail, hogs and an abundance of non-game wildlife.  Hugo Lake is a 13,000 acre paradise for fishermen right here in Hugo's Kiamichi River Reservoir valley.  Bass tournaments and catfish tournaments are held regularly on Hugo Lake.  The lake's dam spillway is less than 1 mile away where fish of all types and sizes are pulled out on regular basis by fishermen of all ages.

 

Just 5 minutes from Hugo, Oklahoma - "Circus City USA".  Home to the Endangered Ark Foundation, Frisco Depot Museum, Mt. Olive Cemetery - final resting place for rodeo greats such as Freckles Brown and Lane Frost, Blue Grass Festival, and host to the annual PRCA Rodeo the first weekend in June.

 

Our resort is located only 10 minutes from Choctaw Casino that offers gaming, dining, and weekly live entertainment.  See your favorite music artists throughout the year at the Choctaw Event Center Grant.

 

Love History? Then our area will not disappoint- with many historical sites to visit.  Fort Towson served for a time as headquarters for Confederate forces operating in Indian Territory during the Civil War.  

 

If you are looking for a little bit of city life, you can find that in Paris Texas, only 30 miles southwest of our resort.  Paris offers movie theaters, a large variety of dining options, shopping centers, comedy clubs and more!
